Frequently asked questions

Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Inclusively, I cover Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield (and the surrounding villages), but can travel to other locations for your family photos. I've been all over the West Midlands, so nowhere is too far. Send me a message to discuss your specific location.

What exactly is “family lifestyle photography”?

 

Think real life, but prettier. Less “everyone look at the camera and smile like a hostage situation,” more cuddles on the sofa, kids doing kid things, and genuine moments you’ll actually recognise as your family. Using your home as a backdrop to your life just makes sense.

My kids will not sit still. Is that a problem?

 

Perfect. That’s literally my specialty. I used to be a primary school teacher, so I get it.


Running, wriggling, climbing furniture, sudden emotional breakdowns over the wrong snack—all normal and all welcome. I follow the chaos rather than fight it.

How long does it take to receive the final photos?

 

When I'm not chasing your children or my own two, you'll find me editing in front of the telly. For seasonal mini sessions and outdoor family sessions, there is generally a turn around of 5-10 business days. For other sessions and events, you can expect your photos in 15-20 business days.

What should we wear?






Clothes. Definitely clothes.

Beyond that: neutral tones, minimal logos, and things you can move in. I’ll send you a full styling guide so you don’t panic-buy matching outfits at 11pm the night before.



Can dogs, cats and other animals be involved?

 

Yes. Yes. And absolutely yes.


If they’re part of your family story, they’re welcome in your family photoshoot.

Do you offer prints and albums?





I do—and they’re the good stuff. The kind you actually put on walls instead of leaving on your phone for eternity.

Of course!

Follow me on Instagram for my seasonal photo sessions. I do Christmas Tree Minis, Mother's Day Minis, Bluebell Minis and Summer Field Minis. Always a lot of fun! I even offer a discounted rate on 4 minis a year for £400!
