Hi!
Let me tell you a little about me….
I'm Kristen, I'm a talkative, coffee loving and travel obsessed mom of two little girls. I'm originally from Canada (save you guessing my accent!) and have lived in England for the last 10 years with my supportive partner. Along with our crazy one and three year old, we currently live just outside Tamworth, West Midlands.
I picked up my camera again (after a 10 year professional hiatus!) after struggling to find someone who could genuinely capture my own transition into motherhood. I wanted photographs that reflected our real life with a newborn, not rushed, not overly posed, but gentle, honest and full of connection.
I saw a gap for something slower and more meaningful in my local area. A photographer who would come into your home, the place you are most yourself, and create space for child-led, relaxed moments where families can simply be together, wild and all. The more chaotic the better is my motto!
I often sit and watch my three year old flip through our photo albums and I have realised these photographs aren’t just for us, they’re for our children too. They’re a record of how it felt to be loved, held, and part of something. A lasting legacy our children will one day look back on and see themselves exactly where they belong.
Perfectly behaved kids not required. I capture the giggles, the wild energy, the snack breaks, and the cuddles in between — the beautifully chaotic reality of family life.
